Its hard to know for sure, if what we are experiencing is normal or not – after all, we only have our own lives as a reference point. We live in social bubbles and operate in patterns that, knowingly or unknowingly, may perpetuate our problems and instead create blind spots.

A psychotherapist is a trained professional who assists people with various mental health conditions, through talk therapy and behavioural techniques grounded in an understanding of psychopathology.

You are the expert of your life, and a psychotherapist is an expert of psychological processes. To use a driving metaphor, you are the driver and a therapist is the GPS. If you suspect that your mental health is struggling and you feel lost, reach out and bring it up with your therapist or mental health professional.

Over the last 10 years, I have specialised in providing psychotherapy to address mental health issues faced by people living in Denmark.

I primarily use the metacognitive framework in my therapy sessions

MCT is a highly effective evidence-based treatment for a range of mental health issues, especially those caused by anxiety, trauma and depression.

It is also effective against Eating Disorders, Personality Disorders, Low Self-Worth, Insomnia, Stress and Emotion Regulation issues.
