Therapy that puts you back in control

Therapy sessions – Psychotherapy for Emotional & Mental Health

Your mental health shapes every part of your life — how you think, feel, and connect with others. Taking care of it is an investment in your wellbeing.

If you’ve been feeling anxious, overwhelmed by overthinking, or struggling to manage emotions, psychotherapy can help you make lasting, meaningful change. I offer evidence-based Metacognitive Therapy (MCT) and integrative psychotherapy for adults who want a structured, compassionate, and results-oriented approach.

My sessions are confidential and tailored to you, available online or in person in Lyngby. I work with local and international clients, including expats and multilingual professionals.

I help clients with:

  • Anxiety, depression, and chronic stress

  • Overthinking and excessive worry

  • Self-esteem and confidence issues

  • Personality disorders and relational patterns

  • Neurodivergence (ADHD, ASD, giftedness, and related challenges)

Whether you prefer to meet online or at my Lyngby clinic, you’ll receive professional, evidence-based care in a safe and supportive environment.

 What Is Metacognitive Therapy (MCT)?

Metacognitive Therapy (MCT) is a modern, evidence-based approach that focuses on how you relate to your thoughts — not the thoughts themselves.
Developed through psychological research and neuroscience, MCT helps you:

  • Reduce worry and rumination

  • Regain control over your thinking patterns

  • Improve focus, confidence, and wellbeing

MCT is effective for anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and overthinking, and typically shows results in 7–12 sessions.

I offer Metacognitive Therapy in the greater Copenhagen area and online for adults seeking a proven, structured path toward mental clarity.

Welcome to Green Door Therapy

Seeking therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s natural to want support you can trust. My practice helps adults and young professionals in Denmark find relief from anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, and emotional difficulties.

With over 10 years of experience, I offer evidence-based Metacognitive Therapy (MCT) both online and in-clinic in greater Copenhagen. This approach helps you reduce worry, break unhelpful thought habits, and reconnect with yourself.

Whether you’re navigating overthinking, low mood, or neurodivergent challenges, therapy can give you practical tools to move forward with confidence and clarity.

My Therapeutic Approach

I primarily use the metacognitive framework (MCT) in therapy — an evidence-based method shown to be effective for a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, personality disorders, and emotion regulation difficulties.

I also work with clients who are neurodivergent (ADHD, ASD, giftedness) and help them build strategies for everyday wellbeing.

With experience navigating the Danish mental health system, I can also guide you in finding the right complementary resources or referrals if needed.

Sessions available online and in-clinic in greater Copenhagen.
